QT Armrest
What few realise is that the normal body of a guitar is too small for our right arm to hang easily over the top and be the right distance from the strings. Now with the help of the QT armrest your arm can rest gently on the rounded form of the QT, and at the same time you have increased the distance to the strings in a positive way AND most importantly without having the corner edge of the top cutting into your arm. 2 positive rewards. I'd like to take a minute here and talk about the price of a QT Armrest.
Some people think the price of 56,-€ plus postage for my QT Armrest is too much or too expensive.
My question to them is:
What is "too expensive, or too much money", to improve your ease of playing, and at the same time reduce the tension in your right arm, which of course includes the fingers, and never wears out and never has to be replaced?
Instead of some piece of plastic or metal as most guitar supports are, the QT is handmade from well seasoned wood by a master luthier with the same care to detail as in building a guitar.
The QT is also the one and only type of support that doesn't distract from the beauty of your instrument because it is made of wood. And because of the nice polished finish it looks like an integral part of your guitar.
Think of all the money you spend on new guitar strings and they don't help you to improve your playing in the least! For what the QT does for your playing, as well as protecting your physical anatomy, it should, and could, cost at least 5 times as much, if not more. The QT is a value for a lifetime!
